Alenra Global is a premier experiential learning platform dedicated to preparing students and young professionals aged 18–25 for impactful careers in international affairs, diplomacy, and global policy. We bridge academic excellence with real-world engagement, empowering emerging leaders to build meaningful networks, gain hands-on experience, and develop the skills needed to thrive on the global stage.

Being selected to take part in an ATP Alenra is not only an educational opportunity — it’s a mark of distinction. Our participants receive a golden CV outlining the exclusive opportunity, an enhanced skill palette, elite-level connections, and an accredited certification recognised globally by UN bodies.
Our programs provide curated, hands-on experiences inside international institutions like the United Nations. Participants engage directly with UN Officers, Diplomats, Field Experts, and Civil Society leaders, gaining insights into multilateral diplomacy, global governance, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Each ATP occurs at one of the four major United Nations centres worldwide, ensuring a truly immersive and globally relevant experience. These locations include:
- New York City, USA – The main UN Headquarters and the heart of global diplomacy
- Geneva, Switzerland – Home to the UN Office at Geneva and numerous specialised agencies
- Vienna, Austria – Host to several UN offices and key international organisations
- Nairobi, Kenya – The only UN headquarters in Africa, serving as a hub for environmental and development issues
At these strategic centres, participants interact with professionals across the UN system, including experts from agencies listed under the Affiliations tab.

The Founder
Sunmbleena Meghany
Founder & CEO of Alenra Global, a youth-driven initiative dedicated to amplifying young voices in global governance and bridging civil society with multilateral institutions. With a deep commitment to human dignity and evidence-based policy, she leads Alenra's mission to promote ethical leadership and diplomatic literacy aligned with UN values and SDG frameworks.
Her expertise is underpinned by distinguished certifications from the World Youth Alliance, where she achieved top-tier global results in human rights and bioethics training, and the World Bank in behavioural science and public policy. Beyond Alenra, Sunmbleena founded the Asian Arab Network, the UK's first professional development network empowering Asian and Arab talent, demonstrating a proven track record in fostering inclusive opportunities.
What began as local community empowerment has since expanded into a global network, marked by personal invitations to international conferences and exclusive policy dialogues. Through her work, Sunmbleena is dedicated to strengthening global citizenship and creating meaningful pathways for youth engagement in international affairs.
